GOOD NEWS: By the time the final match began all spectators had departed. However, the winner would have HEATHER SCHULTZ but it appears she had to go home early so... the big bundle of cash carries-over and we'll try again. (well, thinking about it, that would be bad news for Heather, good for everyone else)

We've been thinking of ways to get more people involved with foos. Thinking is good, but we need some action. So tonight we're going to try something new. It will be a typical DYP with 100% payout (less the $2 table fee) BUT here's the new twist:
The SPECTATORS, those specifically "recruited" by players will be given a golden
ticket. (we're not really sure of the color, so don't hold us to that) At the START of the finals, we'll draw one ticket and that person gets the contents of the cash box. Ticket holder must be present to win. If they should depart, cash box stash stays as-is and we let it build for next time.
The idea is for us to invite people, if not to play, then at least to drink beer and watch. Friends, neighbors, spouses, neighbors' spouses... are all welcome. They don't have to play, they just have to show up and at least pretend to be interested.
AND... If you've never played in one of our DYPs AND you want to try it, you get two tickets.

FINE PRINT: Our goal is to get 1:1 player to visitor ratio. If we achieve that, then 100% of the cash box goes to the winning visitor. (So if we have 14 players and only 7 "official visitors" then their award is 50% of the cash box with the remaining to remain in for next time. As a player, you are not required to bring someone as you are allowed to recruit locally. e.g., You would introduce yourself to some stranger, explain the "opportunity" and they become your guest. This drawing DOES NOT subtract from the normal 100% payout for the winner players.
