It costs nothing to be part of this effort
If you are a pro or want to learn the game, you are encouraged to register. All we collect is your name and email address. When we have events, we'll send out a maximum two sentence email reminding you that something is happening. (We have no newsletter and we'll never try to sell you anything via email)
You are not required to log into miFOOS. Most of our info is open to the public. However the only exception: If you want to post in the forum you must be logged in. We do this only to minimize the amount of spam posts.
MiFOOS is mostly local to SE Michigan, our home location being Wolverine Brewing on the west side of Ann Arbor. However our official reach is from Toronto to Chicago. This IS NOT a website just about Ann Arbor foosball.

BRAINSTORMING HELP WANTED We are also seeking a handful of others who would like to help maintain this effort. Many brains are better than fewer brains. By help, we just mean a few hours per month adding articles here, approving submission by others. Essentially, you would be a MiFoos webmaster using an open source content management system known as Joomla. For this, the only technical skills you need is something along the line of being able to navigate Facebook. You click things, type, then click Save. If you're interested but not sure, we can set you up as an admin and try it for a bit. If it's not to your liking, we won't hold a grudge. To get started, send a short email or mention it at one of our upcoming events.
