Advertising : We're Ok With That

The table that was acquired for Wolverine was a coin-slot Tornado. Within coin-slot tables there exists a counter that tells how many times the balls have been dropped.   If you're running pay table, then this matters as the number of games played needs to reconcile with the number of coins within.  However, we have elected to keep foosball free at Wolverine because we want as many people as possible to play.  (so we don't care all that much, except that it's something to write about here)

However we did make note of the game counter when we installed the table and last night, jotted down the current counter value.

Since we installed the table on the 3rd of May, the balls have been dropped 486 times. That averages to about 20 games per day. Not bad. We'll keep an eye on this each month to see if this effort makes a difference.

Also, keep in mind that free means we are trying to generate revenue via alternate methods. So if you have something that you would like to get in front of a very affluent cash-flush demographic, then here's your big chance...

FYI: Non-profits and generic community messages are no charge. You need only supply us with a PDF in a ready-to-cut layout. And remember, that whatever goes on the table, also is promoted on this website.

If you have any questions, give a ring or drop a note.

Advertising Specs

If you are planning to produce your own 4x6 card, here's a perfect example of what we need.

In addition to the table ad, there are three bulletin boards. (one in front, one in each rest room) When you're producing your ad, going two-up as did Amazing Blue Taxi, it allows us to save one entire sheet of paper. :) Also, we can't promise ad space on the bulletin boards as we have no official rights to those however if it's a good ad, the nice folks at Wolverine are just as eager to support the community as we are.

FYI

We would be glad to promote you here. Promotion is what we do. Without that, foosball will fizzle.

miFOOS.com has been online for only ten months and traffic had been twice what was planned. We have a reach into the US market but 15% of our visitors are from the European side.

If you have any foos related business opportunities we would enjoy hearing from you.
